LIFE

J.P is one of the most important self-thought architect and designer.Son of an artist and a pianist in 1923 he opened his atelier. In 1931 began collaborating with French Architects  Eugene Beaudoin and Marcel Lods on some architect projects and with Le Courbusier too on forniture design projects.In 1947 he built a factory where he produced forniture and he undertook architectural research on using alluminium. In 1949 his brother won a contract by the Ministry of Reconstruction and Urbanism to build a lot in Medon, outside Paris.They designed a prefabbricated house to use in Africa, but his business failed in 1952. He continued working for Le COrbusier projects. His works talks about the philosophy that includes collaboration between artists and craftsmen. From 1957 to 1970 he lectured at the Conservatoires des Arts et Metiers in Paris. He died in 1984.
